ITF DG Charges Staff to turn a new leaf - Be Good Ambassadors of Change

The Director-General of the Industrial Training Fund (ITF), Sir Joseph Ari has charged the workforce to imbibe positive work attitudes and values that would guarantee the achievement of the Agency’s mandate and the economic diversification programme of the Federal Government.

Sir Ari, who was addressing staff of the Fund during his maiden Interactive Forum with staff at the Centre for Excellence, Bukuru, Wednesday, identified indiscipline and other negative attitudes as obstacles to the realization of corporate goals.

“To my mind, the utmost impediment to our corporate achievement is the rampant indiscipline, which manifests itself in late coming, absenteeism, truancy and other negative work attitudes. These have occasioned a situation whereby some few work tirelessly day and night for the good of the ITF” he said, warning that Management would do all it takes to stamp out such attitudes. ...Read more


ITF Model Skills Training Centre gets Certification

The Industrial Training Fund (ITF) has concluded plans to commence full academic activities in its Model Skills Training Centre (MSTC), Abuja, in February, 2017.

This is even as it has secured approval from both Federal Ministry of Education and National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) leading to award of National Innovative Diploma and National Diploma Certification, respectively.

This was disclosed by the Director General of the ITF, Sir Joseph Ari during his Media Press Conference which was held at the ITF Area Office in Abuja recently. He said the Fund has already secured approval from the Ministerial Tenders Board for the procurement of all outstanding equipment in some of the Trade Areas at the MSTC. ...Read more



Upcoming Training Programmes

The Centre will be running the following training programmes in the second quarter of 2019 as follows:

  • Digital Information Management for Performance Improvement
    - Implementation Date: 6th - 10th May, 2019
    - Course Fee: N50,000 per participant
    - Venue: Keffi, Jos-Road, Nasarawa State.
