Short Term Training Programmes

The Short-Term Training Programmes run by the Centre offer an exceptional value opportunity for workers who wants to upskill. The programme is categorized into two: Scheduled and Unscheduled. A scheduled programme, as the name implies, has a predetermined implementation date and venue while an unscheduled programme's implementation date and venue will be determined by request of the prospective participants.

Scheduled Training Programmes

 The following Scheduled programmes are run by the Mechatronics (Automation & Autotronics Technology) Department for 5 days.

• Motor Principles, Drives and Control Workshop
  - Implementation Date: 6th - 10th May, 2019
  - Duration: 5 Days
  - Course Fee: N50,000 per participant
  - Venue: ITF Model Skills Training Centre, ITF House, Maitama, Abuja.


• Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) Application Workshop in Industrial Automation
  - Implementation Date: 3rd - 7th June, 2019
  - Duration: 5 Days
  - Course Fee: N50,000 per participant
  - Venue: ITF Model Skills Training Centre, ITF House, Maitama, Abuja.


• Introduction to Industrial Automation and Robotics Skills Workshop
  - Implementation Date: 5th - 9th August, 2019
  - Duration: 5 Days
  - Course Fee: N50,000 per participant
  - Venue: ITF Model Skills Training Centre, ITF House, Maitama, Abuja.

Duration: 3 days, 5 days, 10 days (based on request).

Methodology: Participatory Practical Hands-On.

Course Fee: Starts from N40,000 (Forty Thousand Naira) only per participant.

Venue: Mechatronics Department Workshops, Laboratories and Training Rooms, ITF Model Skills Training Centre, ITF House, Maitama, Abuja.
